The "Downtown Urban Redevelopment Advisory Committee" (DURAC) is made up of members of groups and organizations representing a variety of interests for revitalizing the downtown commercial core. The Committee helps ensure that projects and programs recommended in the Klamath Falls Downtown Plan are completed in a timely and coordinated manner. Such improvements have enhanced the downtown's viability as a regional center and destination for shopping, living, government services, and cultural and historical activities.

Klamath Basin Ecosystem Restoration Office
The Klamath Basin Ecosystem Restoration Office is a section of the Klamath Falls Fish and Wildlife Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Its primary goal is restoring the form and function of the Klamath Basin ecosystem. Habitat restoration efforts focus on coordination, long-range planning, on-the-ground restoration projects and outreach.

The Klamath Basin Audubon Society (KBAS) is an inclusive, community-based organization that promotes a conservation ethic and enjoyment of the natural environment through educational and interactive programs. KBAS provides local leadership in achieving full regard for the environmental consequences of the choices that we all make both as individuals and as a society.
