The Wingwatchers Trail is just one of a huge variety of trail systems in the Klamath Basin and surrounding area. From Crater Lake to Lava Beds and Cascade-Siskiyou National Monuments, to National Forest, BLM, and wildlife refuges, state parks and others, there is hiking for every skill level and fancy.

Link River Trail
The Link River Trail is about 1 mile long and connects Upper Klamath Lake with Lake Ewauna. It follows the Link River, one of the shortest rivers in the world!
You can get to the river from the trail by looking for this sign which takes you off the main trail and heads for the river, about a 5 minute walk away. From Main Street, it is about a 25 minute walk to this sign. There’s a Birds of the Link River Trail guide available as well. -
Moore Park
A recreation destination for a variety of uses - playgrounds, frisbee golf, boating, and mountain biking, Moore Park also offers many miles of trails for all levels of users, from paved to primitive. Located on the southern edge of Upper Klamath Lake at the northwest edge of the City of Klamath Falls, this is a must-explore spot accessible from the Like River Trail.

OC&E Woods Line State Trail
This rails-to-trails long distance trail is paved from downtown Klamath Falls west nearly 8 miles, where it turns to gravel for another 87 miles all the way to Bly, Oregon!

OIT Geo Trail
Named for the nearby geothermal energy generator used by the Oregon Institude of Technology and Sky Lakes Medical Center, this walking trail is well maintained for casual or fitness-focused hikers.
